A good time was had by few this weekend- the good news was that we worked very hard for a long day Saturday and got all of the ramp area floats rebuilt, stripping and replacing all lower wood and floatation.  We were fed like Kings by Heidi with Coffee, Fruit, Beef stew, fresh baked yeast rolls, amazing muffins- more like small cakes-

Sunday saw the launching of these floats plus some others to clear a good sized work area for construction of the new floats starting on the 11th of April- the sad news is that almost half the crew was made up of non members.  We really need a good turnout for the float building April 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th (and 25th and 26th if necessary).  Similar food bribes will be offered!  Please consider knocking off some hours and helping out- you need not even be handy- a lot of time goes in simple but very important job site cleanup- cut offs can sprain ankles…

Kudos to Carter Becker for bringing every tool known to man and doing a great job organizing!- and further thanks to Falls Point Marine (Carter’s Company) for providing very inexpensive crane services which enabled all of these floats to be launched which will greatly ease both the new float building as well as the float in day ballet-
