The spirit of volunteerism has been the cornerstone to the success of the Harraseeket Yacht Club since its inception and is vital to its future. It is what makes our club different from other yacht clubs and it fosters a friendly and cooperative environment for all members and their families. HYC members embrace the club’s objective and work hard to achieve its mission. There are many opportunities for involvement and we invite members to explore the list below and to contact the committee chair to sign up and get involved.

2010 Fund Raising Project:
This fund raiser has accomplished it’s goal! Thank you to everyone that contributed.
A granite bench for under the flagpole has been on the club wish list for a number of years. When it was brought up last week at the mid-winter party a number of us immediately had the same thought, to start a small fundraising campaign to buy and install a granite bench and dedicate it in memory of Jan Newlin.
